We are currently looking to fill the position of Technology Analyst (Voice and Data) to join our Enterprise Information Technology team.
The Saint Mary's University Voice & Data Team has one goal - keeping our Students, Faculty & Staff securely connected to the campus network, the Internet and the applications we need each day to learn, teach, work & relax.
Our group manages a wide portfolio of leading-edge network technologies from wired and wireless networks thru security solutions like firewalls and IDS to security cameras and building controls.
If you know your VLANs from your IPSEC tunnels, your Wireless SSID's from Hot Spot's and you enjoy working on complex network solutions then we would like to hear from you.

Job Information and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Assistant Director - Technology & Cloud Infrastructure Operations, the Technology Analyst (Voice and Data) will:
- Respond to corrective network problems, performing effective/efficient problem analysis.
- Plan for and implement preventive maintenance routines to ensure network standards of performance are met.
- Perform cutovers and upgrades on the network.
- Maintain current documentation of site status, complete trouble tickets, incident report and other required reports.
- Respond to service tickets.
- Provide Firewall, Switch & Wifi support to internal stakeholders.

Experience and Education Requirements
To be the successful Technology Analyst (Voice and Data) you will have:
- Completion of High School plus completion of a two or three year formal technical training program (i.e., Community College).
- Minimum of three years' experience.
- Information Technology experience in a technology support role.
- Optical Fibre, Cat6 & knowledge of TCP/IP is required.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to work on projects in a team environment and ability to work on an individual basis as required.
