Our client is a full-service bookkeeping firm servicing clients inside and outside of Halifax Regional Municipality and they are currently looking to add a Senior Bookkeeper to their existing team.
The successful candidate must have previous Accounting/Bookkeeping experience and be an organized, fast learning individual and be able to work well with others, while providing a high level of service to their clients. The client is looking for someone with previous experience, be highly organized and have high attention to detail, be able work/learn independently and be able to problem solve quickly.
- General bookkeeping data entry
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Accounts receivable and payables
- Payroll & other CRA correspondence
- Answering phones and other administrative duties
- Post-secondary education in accounting
- Experience with Sage 50 & QuickBooks Accounting software
- 3-5 Year previous experience in a full cycle accounting role
