They will be required to prepare and review various types of contract documents including contracts, purchase orders, job orders and insurance documentation. The Contracts Administrator must be able to balance competing priorities to achieve accurate and consistent work output while ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely fashion. A professional demeanor and attitude are key, as this position will be expected to communicate and work with all levels of management.

They will be required to prepare and review various types of contract documents including contracts, purchase orders, job orders and insurance documentation. The Contracts Administrator must be able to balance competing priorities to achieve accurate and consistent work output while ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely fashion. A professional demeanor and attitude are key, as this position will be expected to communicate and work with all levels of management.
Responsibilities
- Understand and take ownership of the contract documentation process
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Customers and Suppliers and proactively intervene when the process is not being followed
- Work well with contract team to assure customers and other departments that commitments are met
- Aid other team members when workload requires additional effort to timely complete tasks
- Review job setup documentation and set up jobs in One World system
- Work with Project Managers and Legal Counsel to assemble and prepare contract documentation for signature
- Process payments to subcontractors once documentation requirements have been met
- Ensure all insurance and workers' compensation documentation is up to date
- Promptly and professionally respond to verbal and written inquiries from internal and external customers
- Maintain hard and electronic copies of project documentation
- Other duties as assigned
Technical Requirements
- Post-secondary education or relevant certification/training
- Previous experience in insurance or contract management would be an asset but is not required
- Experience editing and proof-reading complex documents

- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Detail oriented and able to work within established processes, with a strong focus on internal and external customer service
- Demonstrated experience setting and managing priorities with flexibility in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines
