Responsibilities:
The Senior Supply Planners' role is to ensure there is optimal inventory in the various channels to ultimately meet the needs of the customer in a cost effective way. The managed product is customer premise equipment (CPE), mobile devices and accessories. This position will work closely with the cross functional groups (Product, Sales, Care and Field Operations) to collaborate and ensure inventory availability and optimization. We are looking for a person with initiative and a can-do approach, who fits with our Eastlink culture. To succeed the incumbent must well organized, possess strong analytical skills and be able to perform proactively in a fast paced environment to meet the needs of a business and sales plan. Key responsibilities include;
  • Develops and maintains inventory supply plan to support the sales channels for multiple lines of business
  • Distributes inventory to the channels on a weekly basis, or as needed in a cost efficient manner
  • Creates and maintains reporting and presents suggestions to the Supply Chain Manager and the business
  • Collaborates with Supply Chain, Marketing, Retail and Suppliers to share information on product lead times, product promotions, store issues and forecasted demand
  • Provides accurate inventory reporting to various departments within Eastlink
  • Identifies slow moving inventory, and provide recommendations for handling
  • Uploads daily inventory transactions to the financial system of record and handle exception transactions.
  • Performs monthly inventory reconciliation between financial database and POS database
  • Handles adjustments as a result of monthly warehouse and channel inventory counts
  • Handles monthly inventory counts for contractors and make necessary system adjustments
  • Creates product requisitions when replenishment is necessary

Qualifications:
  • College or University degree in business, engineering or supply chain
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supply planning
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to create and present detailed inventory reports
  • Deep understanding supply planning methodology and techniques
  • Must be able to drive continuous improvement and quality assurance that can have impacts across different departments
  • Ability to multi task and meet tight timelines
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills
  • Willingness to take responsibility and accountability
  • Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to deliver results in a lean organization and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • The individual is highly motivated team player with well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Above average organizational skills
