As a Training Coordinator, Learning and Development, you will be collaborating with the SR Manager, Learning Solutions Delivery and the training delivery team. You will be responsible for the implementation of COVID 19 training initiatives that support CRC programming, as well as the coordination and delivery of training, exercises, workshops, and conferences. You will also be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on training activities.
As a Training Coordinator, Learning and Development, you will:
- Assess, plan for, and implement the learning plan that supports operations and ensure that program personnel have the skills and knowledge required to perform their assigned responsibilities
- Identify target learners and forecasts the number of classes, participants, timing, session counts, and general course planning
- Coordinate, maintain and prepare course schedules, attendance sheets, records, and all necessary course logistics.
- Identify, assess, and analyze gaps in current learning solutions through systematic evaluation of participant confidence in skills acquired and instructor feed back.
- Engage volunteers and staff in learning projects on an on-going basis and provide evaluation/feedback for each project assignment completed.
What we are looking for:
- University degree or community college diploma in one or more of the following disciplines: adult education, volunteer management, or a related field.
- Minimum three (2) years experience at a community-based program level, with demonstrated experience in relationship management and relationship development.
- Fluency (speaking, reading, and writing) in English and French is a definite asset.
- Analytic and problem-solving skills, ability to take initiative and think through next steps / prioritize items to complete and multitask with attention to details
- Interpersonal skills and sensitivity to interact effectively and build on-going relationships with small and large groups of volunteers, staff, and external partners.
- Knowledge of computer software for the development of project plans, presentations, documents, records management, web sites, and multimedia content.
- Knowledge of program planning and budgeting processes.
- Must be able to successfully complete an Enhanced Police Information check.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification or willingness to take training
Working Conditions:
