Process Improvement Specialist

The Role
As a result of continued robust growth, we are seeking a Process Improvement Specialist to join our team of professionals in Blacks Harbour, NB. Reporting to the Director of Process Improvement and Safety, you will be a confident, independent self-starter with competitive drive to support our integrated group of companies as a member of the Corporate Process Improvement Group.
The ideal candidate will possess familiarity and/or verifiable experience with the following concepts:

• Lean manufacturing / Continuous improvement leadership,
• Productivity measurement / analysis,
• Cost Modeling,
• Change Management strategy
• Business Case Development,
• Process Engineering,
• Project Management,
• 6-Sigma,
• TQM, JIT, MRP, TPS, OEE, integrated supply chain management,
• Financial reporting.

To be effective in this role you should be prepared to work in a progressive learning environment with minimal supervision, have a strong desire to succeed, demonstrate problem solving savvy with numbers and have the agility to work with cross functional business partners.
We are targeting candidates with 2+ years of previous work experience but a combination of education, experience, previous project work will be considered. Preference may also be given to those with a professional background(s) in manufacturing, business/accounting designation, biology and/or aquaculture industry experience.
