Gogii Games is looking for a Data Analyst who will combine their analytical, strategic, and technical skillsets to support quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting, improve our understanding of customer behavior and products, as well as identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets. The Data Analyst will collaborate on the optimization of live in-game events, targeted marketing, merchandising and offers, etc.
COVID-19 considerations: Although we are currently working remotely, this is not a remote position and we do not presently offer relocation packages. Any candidate would need to be a Halifax, Nova Scotia resident.
- Carry out qualitative data analysis which will include the identification, examination, and interpretation of patterns and themes in data and determine how these patterns and themes help answer the game design questions
- Transform data into readable reports to support planning and the development of recommendations
- Data management processes - prepare data for project deliverables
- Prepare datasets and develop analytical plans in collaboration with a team
- Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of data sets
- Completion of a related degree is an asset
- Basic experience writing and reading scripts and asset scriptwriting
- Knowledge and experience with qualitative and quantitative research
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and collaborate well as a team member
- Superior skills to organize and manage multi-source data and multiple time points.
- Proven ability to analyze data using analysis of variance, regression models, and advanced modelling techniques.
- Experience using Google Cloud, BigQuery, and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
