The Shared Services group is currently seeking a dynamic, high performing individual who possesses a solid background in Field Services, Analytics and Project Delivery to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible to act as a Field Services Project Delivery Manager. In this key role, you will require a strong understanding of the project delivery process (Agile/Waterfall), data analytics, end-to-end system/user processes, and system requirements. You will also need the ability to meet tight timelines, the self-determination to drive results, and strong communication skills for presenting to Director level and above.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Project Delivery Lead &/or Analyst role on projects impacting Field Services
- Represent Field Services across multiple regions - Central/Atlantic/Manitoba
- Lead field-funded projects from start to finish, including building business cases/assessments, acceptance testing, and benefits tracking, with a focus on improving customer experience/communications
- Working closely with Field Services end users, including but not limited to field technicians, testers, and dispatchers, on building user-focused project requirements and supporting ongoing change management throughout a project's life-cycle
- Interacting regularly with IT to ensure development meets Field specifications, and identifying/tracking defects related to project development
- Building presentations to keep executives and senior management updated regularly on project status
- Proactively identifying opportunities to improve Field efficiency and building plans to execute them
- Occasional ad hoc requests
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- English (Written/Spoken)
- Working knowledge of key field tools/programs, including but not limited to Virtual Repair Tool, Community Forum and Bell.ca Support requests
- Ability to influence and implement change in other business units; change management experience
- Proven analytical/problem solving ability with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong aptitude to recognize opportunities for improvement and take appropriate action
- Previous experience with leading projects that drive impactful changes to the business
- Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Adaptive communication skills - understanding how to frame presentations and tone for different audiences, ranging from executives to end users
- Confident and demonstrated strong leadership
- The flexibility to regularly adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment where change can happen quickly
- Comfortable working in a virtual environment (i.e. conference calls, video conference)
- Strong self-management skills to lead multi-disciplinary tasks and projects with autonomy
- Maintain and manage a flexible schedule as required. Work under pressure and meet deadlines, displays high sense of urgency when appropriate
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- Post-Secondary degree or equivalent work experience
- Agile experience
- Project management certification or equivalent
- Bilingual (English/French)
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
