As an Operations Lead at our St. John's, NL base, you'll be at the forefront of our commercial scheduled service and charter flights, ensuring smooth operations through the use of advanced communication systems, operational control software, and innovative reporting tools. Your role will be pivotal in forecasting and mitigating delays, coordinating cross-departmental activities, and upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee daily flight operations with precision and efficiency.
  • Lead a team of dispatchers using modern crew resource management principles.
  • Play a key role in emergency response planning for PAL Airlines and associated companies.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior team members, shaping the future of aviation operations.

What You'll Bring:

  • Certified Type-B Dispatcher with a passion for excellence, or;
  • Proven leadership skills with a minimum of 1-year experience in a similar operational environment.
  • A drive to excel, a commitment to teamwork, and a thirst for challenge.

Responsibilities
  • To wash aircraft exterior, including washing landing gear etc.;
  • Cleaning of aircraft parts;
  • Cleaning of the aircraft interior cabin and flight deck;
  • Safely operate and maintain all equipment to ensure that it is clean and operable;
  • Clean and maintain hangar;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Cleaning experience is considered an asset;
  • Completion of high school;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Must be able to obtain security clearance and clear criminal record check;
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including 12 hour shifts and overnights;
  • Excellent communication and organization skills;
  • Ability to work with others;
  • AVOP (Airport Vehicle Operators Permit) would be considered an asset.
