Agilus is recruiting for a Full-Stack Java Developer for our client in the Finance industry based in downtown Toronto.
Role in Brief:
Responsible for development of APIs and Java back-end services and front-end web applications, using microservice architecture.
Responsibilities:

• Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement and support technical solutions across a full stack of development tools and technologies
• Supporting test engineers from inception to production, including automated testing
• Identify gaps and solve problems to completion
• Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements.
• Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing.
• Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.

Must Have:

• Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• 5 years+ of experience in Application Development using Java, Spring, Hibernate, Kubernetes
• 2 year+ experience with Test Driven Development
• 1 year+ experience with AWS Cloud Services: EC2, S3, Lamda, ECS/EKS
• 1 year+ experience with API development
• 1 year+ experience with Agile
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Nice to Have:

• 1 years+ of experience in Application Development using JavaScript
• 1 years+ of experience using Javascript frameworks (Vue.js, React, Angular 2+, Node)
• Experience with Typescript, ES6, RxJS, build tools such as Webpack and npm
