Seasonal Production Worker

Are you available for work? Are you a reliable, safety-focused individual? Do you have an interest in working in a food manufacturing environment?
We are in our busy season and are on the hunt for Production Workers to support our Operations Team at our Rothesay Avenue location. We are operating 24 hours/day, with both day and night shifts available. These positions will likely run until mid-December.
As a Production Worker, you would help in a variety of ways:
- Making and packing boxes
- Loading finished cartons into master cartons
- Labelling and loading boxes onto pallets
- Cleaning and sanitizing in your area and on the production line
- Supporting the production line with similar duties that may be assigned
- Depending on business needs, we may ask to train you to work on the production line
If you are available for work and have the following qualifications, we want to hear from you:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented and safe environment
- Must be comfortable working up to 12-hours shifts and performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to bend, stand, stretch and lift (up to 45 lbs max)
- High attention to detail and quality of work
- Positive attitude and approachable manner
- Openness to learning, coaching, and feedback
- Related industry experience is an asset but not required
- Basic computer skills also an asset (using barcode scanners, entering production information into a computer tablet, etc.)
- CSA approved steel-toed, slip-resistant safety shoes or boots are required
