We are looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO) within the Product Development department. This role is a key part of a company-wide initiative to modernize our software suite, which has evolved over the past 25 years and is now undergoing a strategic, multi-year transformation.
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating efforts across departments and workstreams to ensure alignment and progress toward a three-year product development roadmap. You'll work closely with stakeholders from Product, Engineering, QA, Security, Customer Success, Sales, and other teams to bring structure, transparency, and momentum to a high-impact modernization effort.
Key ResponsibilitiesFacilitate planning, coordination, and execution of cross-departmental projects aligned with our three-year modernization roadmap.
Partner with development managers, other project managers, and functional stakeholders to define project scopes, dependencies, milestones, and resourcing needs.
Develop and manage integrated project plans that account for both the transition from legacy systems and the development of new platforms.
Proactively identify risks, issues, and roadblocks—and drive timely resolution through coordination and communication.
Facilitate regular status updates and working sessions with internal stakeholders to maintain alignment and focus.
Track key milestones, manage timelines, and ensure executive visibility into progress and performance metrics.
Promote consistency in project planning and delivery through the application of PMO best practices, effective documentation, and relevant tools.
Support a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all workstreams.
7+ years of project management experience in software development or technology delivery.
Strong background managing multi-year, cross-functional initiatives in mature or legacy environments.
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and hybrid approaches.
Proven ability to influence without authority and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in project tracking and collaboration tools
PMP, PMI-ACP, or other recognized project management certification is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a related field; additional certifications or advanced degrees a plus.
How We Work
You will be expected to work in a remote/hybrid environment reporting to our Kanata, Ontario location 2 or more times per week.
