The Executive Governance Coordinator provides administrative support to our Partnership, Executive Committee, and Senior Leadership Team on strategy and governance initiatives. Our ideal candidate will be an experienced executive administrator with a background in supporting board, governance, and strategy functions, as well as coordinating the day-to-day operations for executive offices.
Location: This position is In-Office. Downtown Dartmouth, BOYNECLARKE LLP
Reporting To: Chief Strategy & Legal Officer (CSLO)
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling executive Committee and Partnership meetings, including proactively resolving scheduling conflicts, and creating, managing, and distributing meeting agendas.
- Creating and circulating minutes of those meetings.
- Following up on and coordinating action items arising from meetings.
- Compiling and tracking updates on key priorities and reporting back to the Partnership, Executive Committee, and Senior Leadership Team.
- Providing governance and strategic support to the Executive Committee and the Senior Leadership Team.
- Prioritizing tasks, deliverables, and special projects or initiatives led by the CSLO, Partnership, Executive Committee, and Senior Leadership Team.
- Preparing accurate and professional correspondence, reports, forms, presentations, and other documents as well as proofreading and editing material submitted for executive signatures and use.
What You Bring
- Experience: 5+ years of administrative experience supporting senior-level management. Graduate of a complimentary Business or Office Administrative program considered an asset.
- Skills: Excellent judgment, diplomacy, and discretion in handling confidential materials; exceptional verbal and written communication with demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service and build positive relationships; and outstanding attention to detail, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Mindset: Critical thinker, problem solver, analytical, and proactive self-starter with a positive attitude, excited to contribute to a collaborative culture.
- Tech Proficiency: Highly adept at using technology such as Outlook and the full Microsoft Suite, with a talent for learning new software quickly.
