- Corporate and multi-employer pension plans
- Endowments and foundations
- Private counsel operations
- Wealth management programs
- Investment consulting
- Portfolio management
- Investment research
- Investment product design
- Business development within the Canadian marketplace
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience in investment consulting for pension funds, benefit funds, and wealth management organizations with subject matter expertise in:
- Institutional investment consulting Understanding investment markets, strategies, structuring, and relevant investment managers/sources.
- Portfolio management Asset allocation, risk management, compliance, performance attribution, and operational projects.
- Leadership & mentorship Developing, educating, managing, and mentoring team members.
- 15+ years of relevant experience in investment advising/consulting for institutional asset owners.
- CFA designation required.
- CIM designation preferred.
- Eligible for OSC Portfolio Manager registration.
- High ethical and professional standards.
- Proven leadership and collaboration skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with clients, the investor community, and investment managers.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and meet deadlines.
- Experience in compliance is an asset.
