Dear candidate, First, I want to thank you for taking the time to read this job posting. This posting is unlike any other posting you will typically run into. That's because I'm not interested in meeting a candidate that is like any other out there. I'm looking for a game changer, a passionate individual who gets it and someone who is simply a great person. I'm looking for the next Sales Growth Leader for Eligeo. This role is unique. You can call yourself an account executive, sales manager, sales leader, or sales VP or whatever you feel is the correct title. The objectives remain the same: we need your help to continue the phenomenal growth that the company is achieving already. We need you to take it to the next level as we continue our trajectory to becoming one of North America's largest software consulting firms. So, what exactly do we do at Eligeo? We help our clients make business software work for them. We've partnered with world leading software companies that are investing in R&D and delivering compelling solutions. We help our clients pick the right products and then successfully implement them. We're also there to help them achieve their desired results through on-going support arrangements and other initiatives to ensure a complete positive customer experience. You will get to sell solutions based on leading products such as SugarCRM, Salesforce, monday.com, Zendesk, RingCentral, DocuSign and a host of our own proprietary software solutions built in-house. Who are you? I am not looking for just anybody. I am looking for someone that has a passion for people and delivering results. You are hungry for an opportunity to connect with small and medium sized businesses to help them grow and achieve success. Here are a few things I'm looking for: * Your former/current clients and colleagues have a high degree of respect for you and lean on you as a leader. * You are technical – you understand technology and talk the jargon/lingo * You have used CRM products before and used them extensively – you can talk about the benefits * You have lots of experience. I won't define years here because someone with 20 years might not have the right experience I'm looking for. You already have a strong network of contacts that you can already call upon. * You are hungry. As you'll see below, you will make about $100k quite easily with your base and commission. I need somebody that will not settle for that. You must be the highest paid person in the company. You better double, triple or more that number. That is a requirement. * You are a problem solver. You genuinely want to help clients become better. What you will be doing? Selling and selling but not just any selling. This role is not for a box pusher. If you want to push boxes, go join a widget factory. You need to be creative and be ready to sell solutions to clients. Our clients have problems that need solving and only you, as the initial point of contact, can help them get creative with the options that Eligeo has to offer. Here are some areas you will be involved with: * Prospecting and finding new contacts. * Delivering compelling demo's using stories and creative thinking. * Working closely with our service delivery and client success teams to deliver proposals. * Preparing and delivering proposals. * Identifying new opportunities and areas for expansion. * Working closely with our marketing team to drive traffic to webinars, events and more. * Maintaining positive and professional relationships with vendors, clients, and colleagues alike. * Mentoring and guiding our junior sales reps to help “lift the boat” with more growth so the whole company participates in the success. * Helping other junior sales team members close deals by jumping on calls and helping close deals. I wanted to touch on the mentoring piece a bit. I want someone that wants to not only grow their own pocket but sees their colleagues as those that can help them grow too. There are junior salespeople at Eligeo that need guidance and leadership. Although you won't be expected to do typical manager duties, you will be expected to work with the team to help them grow and close their own deals. What's in it for you? We are building something special here. Every staff member we've hired tells me that this is the best job that they have ever had. I am not making this stuff up. You can talk to anybody at Eligeo today and see the work we've done to ensure a complete work life balance while also ensuring our team gets the resources they need to grow. I will challenge you. Your team members will challenge you. Your clients will challenge you. You will learn more than you've ever anticipated, and you will end up an even better professional and person because of it. I haven't touched on compensation, but that's important too. At Eligeo, money isn't an issue. This role is senior in nature and trust me, you will get paid. Deliver the results you will get paid. We have a sales rep working for us making over $100k in total compensation – he has 1-years sales experience. Imagine what you can do. What else is there? * Base + Commission. Your total salary compensation including commission will exceed over $100k per year. If you're not hitting your goals, then you're probably not a fit here anyhow. * Just FYI – the base is generous as well to get you started. * No cap commission. Make as much as you want, that only means the company is benefiting. * Flex Fridays – after probation, you're expected to use flex Fridays to catch up on work, go golfing, get groceries done or catch a movie matinee. * On-going learning opportunities – my first boss once told me that if you're bored in your job and not learning – then get the “F” out. We encourage and pay for training opportunities. * Gym / Health – we pay for your gym membership. * Full Health and Dental benefits after 3-months. What's next? That's about it. I hope you found this posting a bit more personal than others. It should because I wrote it myself. I am looking for someone that is ready to help lead our sales team into the next wave. I look forward to your cover letter and resume. Regards, Derek Major
