THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-time Licensing Coordinator to join our team, focused on ATM licensing across Canadian provinces, with a particular emphasis on British Columbia, Quebec, and Alberta. This is a remote, hourly part-time position starting at 16 hours per week, with the option for additional hours based on interest and team needs. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator who enjoys problem-solving and confidently interacts with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Support ATM licensing efforts in BC, Quebec, and Alberta by researching and understanding provincial regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate directly with our Quebec legal counsel and other legal advisors to interpret and implement licensing guidelines.
- Communicate with provincial and municipal regulatory bodies via phone and email to confirm licensing requirements and resolve any questions.
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to ensure licensing procedures align with operational logistics and timelines.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of licensing applications, renewals, and correspondence.
- Monitor changes in provincial licensing frameworks and alert internal teams to any new developments.
- Assist with the drafting and maintenance of internal policies and procedures related to ATM licensing and compliance.
- Qualifications
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Conversational French is a strong asset; must be comfortable speaking with French-speaking jurisdictions and government representatives.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and communicate directly with external parties, especially government bodies or regulators.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter who thrives in a remote work environment and is comfortable coordinating across teams.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Hourly, part-time position guaranteeing 8 hours per week, with the opportunity for up to 16 hours based on team needs and individual availability. Fully remote.
- Opportunity for additional hours depending on team needs and individual interest.
- Occasional travel for team meetings or conferences may be requested (not required).
