Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert, offering expertise to both internal teams and clients.
- Oversee large projects, including timelines, resources, and deliverables, while solving complex problems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and build trust.
- Develop technology and management solutions for sectors with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- Understand internal technical capabilities and guide project direction.
- Develop and present solution options, working with clients and teams to select the best approach.
- Lead research on emerging technologies and provide recommendations.
- Conduct gap analysis and develop future strategies.
- Lead workshops and Visioning Sessions with user groups and senior management.
- Prepare business cases, value propositions, and roadmaps for clients.
- Oversee the development of performance specifications and manage project risks.
- Conduct reviews on client design deliverables (drawings and specifications), providing compliance opinion and recommendations for consideration.
- Improve processes, systems, or products to enhance job performance.
- Ensure projects stay on track with timelines and budget.
- Collaborate with other leaders to forecast resource needs and staff projects.
- Maintain relationships with clients and expand project scope.
- Contribute to thought leadership through white papers and conferences.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in engineering project management and IMIT design.
- Experience in capital planning for healthcare facilities is preferred.
- Relevant education or certifications (e.g., RCDD, PSP, CNE, TOGAF).
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and deliver on time and within budget.
- Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients and teams.
- Experience mentoring junior staff and helping them develop their skills.
- Ability to present complex technical issues to executive committees.
- Skilled in developing performance specifications and ensuring designs align with goals.
- Set technical standards and guide junior employees in consulting services.
- Proficient in analytics and project management, especially using Microsoft tools (Excel, Teams).
