Were currently looking for a Claims Examiner to join our Insurance Solutions team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, youll evaluate life, disability and job loss claims and deliver exceptional service to our valued clients -- all while working within an empowered, collaborative environment that values innovation and accountability.

What Youll Do

As part of our Claims team your core responsibilities will include:

• Accurate and timely investigation, evaluation, and eligibility of life, disability, and job loss claims based on medical information, job requirements, non-medical factors, and policy terms within established service standards and operating protocols.
• Communicate decisions and recommendations to management and clients.
• Accurate and timely documentation of all communication with clients.
• Gather information, exchange ideas, and offer solutions on claims.
• Proactively communicate with policyholders on claim statuses and developments.

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who is fluently bilingual in French and English and brings both technical expertise and a collaborative spirit. Heres what will set you up for success in this role:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in claims administration in the life insurance industry
• Experience working with creditor insurance products would be ideal
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to clearly convey ideas and information
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and medical professionals
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
• A disciplined approach to following processes and guidelines
• LOMA courses in progress or completed
