JPS is expanding, and we're searching for Experienced Finish Grader Operator to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Safe operation of grader
• Finish grade quality work
• Ability to read grade/utilize a laser level
• Working with minimal supervision
• Performing daily safety and maintenance checks
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• You are required to possess a minimum 2 years of experience in operation of finish graders and related equipment, for example, the ability to finish grade within a 2 cm tolerance
• You are required to have extensive road building related heavy equipment operator experience
• You must possess knowledge of the safe operation of equipment and municipal road building industry
• You must possess a valid class 5 drivers license with air or above with a clean drivers abstract
• High attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to follow directions are required
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is highly desirable
• You are required to demonstrate a willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends
• Valid safety certifications are required.

Additional Information

• This position is eligible for over-time
• Some travel outside of Edmonton may be required
• Training will be provided for various activities

All JPS Construction employees must have CSTS2020 Fundamentals, WHMIS and will be required to complete any other orientations the company deems necessary to perform work including company and site-specific orientations.
