Position Overview:
As a Server Assistant at Queen's Harbour, you are an essential part of our service team, supporting servers and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests. You'll play a key role in maintaining a clean and organized dining area, assisting with food delivery, and helping our team provide seamless service.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Team: Assist servers in delivering food and drinks, ensuring that all orders are accurately presented and served in a timely manner.
- Create a Welcoming Atmosphere: Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining room, ensuring that guests feel comfortable and valued.
- Help Manage Guest Flow: Assist with seating arrangements and preparing tables for incoming guests, working alongside the host team to ensure a smooth transition.
- Be a Menu Resource: Assist with providing guests information about the menu and answer questions when needed, ensuring guests feel confident and cared for.
- Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Clear and reset tables promptly, keep the dining area neat, and support the team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Stay Proactive: Anticipate guest and team needs by staying alert and moving efficiently throughout the dining area.
- Support Service Needs: Help with restocking supplies, refilling drinks, and assisting with other tasks to ensure service runs smoothly.
- Close with Care: Ensure the dining area is clean and organized at the end of the shift, preparing it for the next service.
Qualifications:
- Strong Communication Skills
- Customer Service Focused
- Organized & Efficient
- Hospitality experience is a plus
