As they accelerate their global growth strategy, we seek an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join their dynamic team. This senior leadership position will play a critical role in shaping and executing procurement and supply chain strategies to support product innovation, global sourcing, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement Leadership
- Lead global sourcing strategies for raw materials and packaging aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and manage strategic supplier and co-packer relationships to drive performance, cost savings, and innovation.
- Execute high-impact negotiations and supplier performance management programs.
- Proactively source new materials to support NPD and category expansion.
- Oversee all logistics functions, including transportation, warehousing, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
- Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery performance to customers across Canada and the U.S.
- Lead cost optimization and operational improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory management strategies.
- Align inventory levels with production and sales demand while optimizing working capital.
- Leverage retailer and customer data to forecast demand and improve inventory visibility.
- Collaborate with finance and operations to align procurement planning with demand forecasting and financial targets.
- Prepare and present weekly supply performance reports to senior leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement by tracking KPIs, identifying gaps, and implementing solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree is an asset).
- 7–10+ years of progressive procurement and supply chain leadership experience within food manufacturing or CPG industries.
- Strong background in global sourcing, supplier negotiations, and logistics optimization.
- Skilled in inventory planning, cost modeling, and data analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with inventory and warehouse systems is a plus.
- Strong leadership presence with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
