- Managing a unionized hourly workforce, including production operators and skilled trades.
- Driving performance to meet production, cost, and quality goals.
- Enforcing standardized work procedures to maintain consistency and efficiency.
- Providing guidance, coaching, and motivation to employees for growth and development.
- Empowering teams to work autonomously and cultivate strong leadership skills.
- Resolving product quality issues, equipment failures, machinery transitions, and workforce concerns to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborating with Engineering, Maintenance, Material Planning, and Logistics to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Training production staff in lean manufacturing principles and problem-solving techniques.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations, legislative requirements, and company policies.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in production supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work a STRAIGHT NIGHT SHIFT (Training will be on days to begin)
- Previous experience within an automotive manufacturing setting a must; electronics manufacturing experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills to ensure clear, timely, and effective information sharing.
