As Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible to provide daily management of branch operations including delivery of fire and marine products, technical services, and solutions, as well as customer support for multiple projects and contracts to a variety of industrial, institutional, and commercial customers in accordance with K&D Pratts health, safety, environment and quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures and the Companys code of conduct and business principals. Expectations of this role include, but not limited to:

  • Champion safety leadership by promoting HSE standards and regularly reviewing safety performance.
  • Oversee the execution of multiple projects/contracts, ensuring compliance with client, company, regulatory, and safety requirements.
  • Manage daily technical services and customer operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, site inspections, and work progress reviews.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of reports and escalate operational issues as needed.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to balance service efficiency and cost control.
  • Ensure equipment calibrations and maintenance needs are up to date, escalating as required.
  • Drive financial performance through budget management, customer relationship development, and cost control.
  • Support and execute branch sales and service delivery plans in collaboration with the Regional Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with technical reporting standards and proactively address deficiencies.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client services and build customer relationships.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team through effective recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Evaluate and align staffing levels and skills with operational needs and growth targets.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional meetings and collaborative initiatives at the branch, regional, and organizational levels.

We are looking for a leader who is:

  • Skilled in leading a diverse and geographically dispersed team ensuring high levels of safety focus and quality service delivery
  • Highly motivated and focused on meeting and exceeding regional targets and deliverables.
  • Attentive to building relationships with all stakeholders, including employees, clients, vendors, community representatives, etc.
  • Comfortable communicating in a variety of situations whether it be on at a branch or client site, in a Teams call, or at a community event.
  • Adaptable. Things can change quickly, and they dont sweat the small stuff.
  • Open to collaboration, but who can also analyze information and situations independently to make timely decisions.
  • Solutions focused with an emphasis on customer service that is etched into their work ethic.
  • A team player who has no issues lending a hand or asking for one.
  • Work overtime and/or travel overnight to support operational requirements operating locations throughout the province as well as to remote client sites as required.

They must also possess the following experience and/or training credentials:

  • Knowledge of Field or operations management, marine services, fire protection, or related areas; andCodes, laws, and other regulatory guidelines related to the execution of fire protection and/or marine services.
  • A valid drivers license.
  • Supervisory, management, leadership or other related training.
