We are currently seeking an entry level Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team and ensure the highest standards of quality management across our operations. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and excellent communication skills.
About the Role:
As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will be integral to maintaining and enhancing our Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements (ASME, CWB, ABSA). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous improvement, manage data analysis, and uphold safety and compliance standards.
Your daily activities include monitoring and reviewing ongoing quality assurance activities and ensuring everything is on track, primarily working analyzing data for quality assurance reports helping to drive improvements and leading internal audits.
You'll actively coordinate with cross-functional teams, addressing any quality issues that arise and implementing corrective actions to keep our operations running smoothly. Safety is a top priority, so you'll also conduct safety observations and ensure compliance with all safety standards. You'll also participate in dynamic team meetings, where you'll discuss progress, tackle challenges, and prepare for upcoming audits.
This role will be on-site in Edmonton – (9624 -35 Avenue NW, Edmonton Alberta, Canada)

Qualifications Criteria:
  • Technical Diploma or Degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as an intern, coordinator or assistant in a manufacturing environment, particularly in handling non-conformances is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 is essential for this position, and a basic understanding of 17025, ASME, and CSA codes is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and preparing quality assurance reports.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel.
  • Confidence in delivering presentations and communicating effectively with management and team members, along with understanding of internal quality audits.
Nice-to-Have Skills (Not mandatory):
  • Experience in quality management system.
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Certifications in ISO 9001:2015, Internal Auditing or other quality-related certifications.
