Overview
Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of highway traffic lighting and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) projects in Toronto. This role is ideal for candidates with 2+ years of electrical experience coordinating infrastructure or electrical projects in the transportation sector.
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project schedules, resources, and communications to ensure smooth execution.
• Support the design, installation, and maintenance of highway traffic lighting and ITS infrastructure, including traffic signals, CCTV, and vehicle detection systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders such as municipal agencies, contractors, and suppliers to meet project objectives.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare status updates for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Ontario regulations, safety standards, and municipal guidelines.
• Maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 2+ years coordinating projects, preferably in highway infrastructure or electrical systems.
• Proficiency in project management software and knowledge of Ontario traffic systems and electrical standards.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

The position is office based just on the outskirts of Toronto
Salary - $60,000 - $70,000
