In support of the modernization process HRPA is going through our technology team is in the process of updating how our systems work and how they work together to enable our staff to more easily and effectively communicate with our members and the organizations they represent. To accelerate this process we're seeking an intermediate level Developer join our team for this one year contract (with potential for extension or conversion to full time status in 2026) to focus on building integrations between our systems and automating processes related to our Dynamics 365 CRM application and the other internal and external applications it interfaces with. Reporting to the Senior Director of IT, as the only Developer & Workflow Automation Specialist on the team this person will need a blend of technical development expertise and business analysis acumen to ensure that automation solutions are both technically sound and align with business needs and objectives.
We're looking for a forward thinking individual who will be comfortable working with a blend of current and next generation tools (from Javascript frameworks and Restful APIs to Power Automate, Flow and ChatGPT), to build cloud friendly workflows and API's that create new efficiencies and opportunities for the HRPA.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Design and implement automation workflows using Power Automate, Flow, and AI-driven tools.
  • Develop and manage API integrations between Dynamics 365 CRM and external applications using, JavaScript, .Net frameworks, RESTful APIs ,and JSON.
  • Develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions to support business processes.
  • Leverage ChatGPT, Copilot, Azure AI services or other AI-powered tools to enhance workflow automation and improve user productivity.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams for CRM-related projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CRM, integrations
  • Optimize development for hosting and management on Azure based cloud for hosting CRM-related applications and services.
  • Ensure solutions comply with security, compliance, and best practices in system development and data management.
  • Document technical processes, workflows, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree or multi-year College diploma in Computer Science or software development
  • 3-5 years of experience development and customization experience including some work directly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Microsoft cloud
  • Proficiency in Power Automate, Flow, and workflow automation tools.
  • Strong programing ability in JavaScript ,TypeScript and .Net related frameworks
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and OAuth authentication.
  • Familiarity with Dataverse, Microsoft Power Platform, and cloud-based CRM solutions.
  • Experience with Azure hosted API integrations for Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Strong understanding of OpenAI, Copilot, and AI-driven automation tools.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and design effective technical solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with AI-driven automation strategies for business process optimization.
  • Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, or Azure.
  • Prior experience in regulatory or membership-based organizations is an asset.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with sprint-based development cycles.

Location: Toronto , Hybrid ( 2 days a week onsite)
Compensation: $45-65/hr depending on experience
