JOB DESCRIPTION:

St. Clements Heart & Home is a retail store that has been in business since 1995. We sell flooring, cabinets, window blinds & paint. We are looking to hire a person for sales & some additional responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have all or some of the following:

· the ability to work directly with customers in selecting products that meet their needs

· strong spoken & written English for communication

· math skills for providing job quotations & accurately calculating quantity of materials needed.

· Adept knowledge of the flooring & general carpentry industry

Microsoft Office skills

· willing to work some Saturdays (no Sundays)

· be a team player but also be able to work independently with attention to detail

· available for full time employment

· experience in design

· ability to lift some heavy products

· desire to learn

· Driver's License

Work to include:

· Sales in the store

· Jobsite inspections & measures for accurate quotations

· Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals & maintain store appearance

· Some receiving of goods at the store

· Forklift experience an asset
