Position Summary
We are seeking a Software Architect to define the technical vision, architectural strategy, and best practices for software development projects in our Product Development group. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering principles, cloud computing, security, and scalability. You will work closely with development teams to design robust and future-proof software architectures.
Responsibilities
Architectural Strategy & Technical Leadership
- Define and implement software architecture strategies for scalable and secure applications.
- Develop high-level system designs, including API strategies, data flows, and cloud deployments.
- Ensure software solutions align with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adoption.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work with engineering teams to establish architectural best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to define technical requirements.
- Present architectural decisions to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Performance, Security, & Compliance
- Define security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct performance analysis and optimizations to ensure system reliability.
- Design disaster recovery and fault-tolerant architectures.
Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing
- Guide software engineers on best practices and architectural decisions.
- Conduct training sessions and technical workshops for developers.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly preferred.
Technical Concepts & Methodologies
- Enterprise software architecture and cloud computing.
- Distributed systems and service (microservices) architecture.
- Security best practices (encryption, authentication, OAuth, JWT).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) techniques
- DevOps and CI/CD best practices.

Experience
- 8+ years of experience in software development
- 2+ years of experience architecting cloud solutions

- Architecture Patterns: Microservices, Event-Driven, Serverless.
- Security Standards: OWASP, ISO 27001, SOC 2.
