From the Studio to the Bench —Turn Your Passion for Movement into a Meaningful Career

Are you a professional dancer, dance instructor, or choreographer with a deep understanding of the human body, movement flow, and performance? At StretchLab, we're inviting you to channel that expertise into a new path—helping people move better, feel better, and live better through one-on-one assisted stretching.

As a Flexologist, you'll guide clients through customized stretch sessions rooted in biomechanics, flexibility, and functional movement—areas where dancers naturally shine. Whether you're looking to supplement your performance schedule or transition into a more sustainable wellness career, this is your opportunity to stretch your skills into something new and rewarding.

Why Dance Professionals Excel at StretchLab
  • Body Intelligence: Your kinesthetic awareness and knowledge of alignment make you a natural fit for stretching and mobility work.

  • Client Coaching: Like leading a class or rehearsal, you know how to cue movement, build trust, and create lasting client relationships.

  • Graceful Transitions: Move into a meaningful career that's lower impact on your body but high impact on others.

  • Flexible Scheduling: Perfect for part-time work around classes, rehearsals, or performances—or as a full-time wellness career.

What You'll Do

As a Flexologist, you'll:

  • Lead customized one-on-one assisted stretch sessions (25 or 50 minutes)

  • Perform mobility assessments and design personalized stretch plans

  • Educate clients on posture, movement patterns, and recovery techniques

  • Track client progress and maintain session notes

  • Collaborate with a supportive team of movement professionals in a wellness-centered environment

Qualifications

Required:

  • Background in dance (professional performance, dance instruction, choreography, etc.)

  • CPR/AED Certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A passion for helping others through movement

Preferred:

  • Experience in Pilates, yoga, or personal training

  • Understanding of anatomy and functional movement

  • One-on-one or private instruction experience

What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly pay

  • Paid Flexologist Certification through StretchLab's proprietary training

  • Flexible scheduling with morning, evening, and weekend options

  • A vibrant studio culture backed by Xponential Fitness

  • Continued education and career growth within a nationally recognized brand

Why StretchLab?

StretchLab is the national leader in one-on-one assisted stretching. Our mission is simple: help people unlock better movement and improve their quality of life. We serve a wide range of clients—athletes, performers, working professionals, and older adults—and your movement expertise helps them feel their best.

If you're ready to take your passion for dance into a sustainable, hands-on wellness career, we'd love to meet you.
