We are seeking Journeyperson Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team for an exciting project in BC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in metal fabrication processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and processes.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as plasma cutters, welding equipment, and press brake machines to fabricate metal components.
  • Perform welding tasks using various techniques to assemble metal parts securely.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication process.
Skills:
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
  • Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in metal fabrication.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various fabrication equipment effectively.
  • Competence in plasma cutting and welding processes.
  • Ability to operate a press brake machine for shaping metal components.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Requirements:
  • Must have a Journeyman Certification.
  • Must be able to handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment that weigh up to fifty (50lbs) pounds
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • A pre-employment physical is required.
  • Must be able to wear PPE + Fit Tested Respirator Mask.
  • Must be able to work in Confined Sapce.
  • Must be able to pass a governemt security clearance.
  • Must have valid safety tickets ( Fall Protection, Confined Sapce, WHMIS).
