We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead the field execution of ICI construction projects, with a strong emphasis on concrete work. This role is ideal for a hands-on, proactive leader who thrives in dynamic environments and has a proven track record of managing complex site operations. You'll be the key on-site representative, driving schedule, quality, safety, and collaboration with trades and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities from mobilization to completion.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades, and labor teams, ensuring alignment with project timelines and scopes.
Oversee and ensure the quality of all concrete-related work, including formwork, rebar, pours, and finishing.
Monitor progress, maintain daily site reports, and communicate with the Project Manager on schedule, logistics, and issues.
Conduct daily site meetings and ensure adherence to health and safety standards and OHS compliance.
Manage site logistics, deliveries, and sequencing to optimize productivity and minimize delays.
Interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules, ensuring construction adheres to design and code requirements.
Resolve on-site issues in real-time and maintain momentum through effective decision-making.
Uphold the highest standards of quality control through inspections and detailed oversight.
10+ years of experience as a superintendent or site supervisor in ICI construction.
Demonstrated expertise in concrete construction, including structural and flatwork.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and site coordination.
Proficiency in reading construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, or equivalent) is a strong asset.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
