We are looking for an AZ or DZ driver to drive a Dodge 5500 w/45-foot custom trailer. Opportunity to work out of Ottawa or Sudbury.

• We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our client's team as a Skilled Trades Ambassador. In this dynamic role, you'll be traveling across Ontario to schools and job fairs with their custom-designed mobile trailer, showcasing the exciting world of skilled trades and technologies. You will work closely with another team member.

Responsibilities:

• Hit the Road: Travel Monday-Friday to various events, with weekends home.
• Trailer Management: Safely operate the vehicle (a Dodge 5500 with a 45-foot custom trailer) and manage the interactive trailer, including setup/takedown (45-90 minutes per stop).
• Student Engagement: Guide and assist students (elementary to adult) as they explore virtual welding simulators and other skilled trade simulations within the trailer.
• Event Support: Staff events, lead activities, and maintain equipment within the trailer.
• Logistics and Scheduling: Coordinate with teachers/organizers for event logistics, including scheduling and travel arrangements.
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain positive relationships with schools, community partners, and stakeholders.
• Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, ensure vehicle documentation is up-to-date, and schedule repairs/maintenance.

Contract Details:

• This is a contract position until June 2026, with a strong possibility of extension.
• Salary: $60,000 per year.

Qualifications:

• Valid AZ or DZ driver's license with a clean driving record (AR license is mandatory for those without AZ. Client is willing to support the right candidate in obtaining it).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for promoting the skilled trades and technologies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of computers and basic software (Outlook, Microsoft Suite).
• Ability to work from home with frequent travel required.
• Must be willing to travel and spend nights away from home when required.
• Fluency in English, both oral and written. Fluency in French is an asset.
• Provide a clean Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Screening Check
