Job Description
We are seeking a Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to a small corporate and commercial and real estate development firm.
Responsibilities :
Assist with drafting and reviewing of legal documents
Prepare and file Land Title Office e-filing forms
Record and maintain trust transactions and accounts in accordance with Law Society requirements
Manage conveyance, mortgage, and corporate transactions
Qualifications :
Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field (preferable, but not required)
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Familiarity with Adobe and Microsoft Office software
Experience and knowledge of Land Title Office forms and filing procedures (preferable, but not required)
