Senior Conveyancer - BC
Description:
The Senior Conveyancer is responsible for providing superior customer service to our brokerage service clients while assisting them through deal processing.
Responsibilities:
Audit and process real estate transactions of all transaction types (Buying, Listing, Leases, Referrals, Builder) in Lonewolf software.
Corroborate, prepare and share trade record sheet.
Record incoming EFTs and commission cheques.
Close out transaction types in Lonewolf.
Set up weekly EFT transfer summaries.
Issue Agents and Co-operating brokerages commission payments (EFTs and cheques)
Send commission invoices to cooperating brokerages and to lawyers (with a copy of the Agreement of Purchase & Sale if applicable)
Process sales information, completion letters, and other conveyance correspondence.
Follow up with other brokerages and lawyers regarding commission cheques and confirmation of closing.
Remind and follow up with agents about submitting paperwork (i.e., agency forms, FINTRAC forms, etc.) for deals processing and any other tasks related to the daily function of the deals processing department.
Respond to all agent emails on a timely basis.
Assist with training of new employees
Assist with staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage of all responsibilities.
Trust Payout (balance of deposit and return of deposit)
Other duties as assigned by Management.
Talent Specs:
5+ years experience in the real estate industry would be an asset.
Must have experience using Adobe, Microsoft Outlook and Google Suite
Excellent computer skills
Excellent customer service and people skills
Excellent analytical skills and organizational skills
Understanding of all technology platforms to perform deal processing.
Independent worker and team player
Ability to handle a very busy, fast-paced office setting.
Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills required.
Understanding of Agreement of Purchase and Sale, Agency forms (i.e. buyer representation), FINTRAC ID etc.
