Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and actively participate with the installation and removal of tents, flooring, and ancillary equipment.
  • Assist in ensuring the crew members are adequately certified, trained, and following proper safety procedures onsite
  • Ensure work is performed to Element Tents high-quality standards.
  • Minimize installation costs by using temporary staff, seasonal staff and rental equipment efficiently. Responsible to call off temporary labour and equipment.
  • Maintain good site organization and safe site conditions. Identify and minimize potential safety hazards.
  • Always Represent Element Tents professionally to client.
  • Communicate all issues, delays, improvement recommendations and performance results to project leader.
  • Review job requirements/documentation and ensure the team is properly prepared for the job. This includes: pulling/loading tools, product and equipment; collecting all necessary paperwork; reviewing job and objectives with the staff: and performing onsite staff safety meetings.
  • Keep the warehouse organized and clean. Ensure product is properly organized and put away after the job is completed.
  • Responsible for reporting accurate crew hours and providing them to the Installations Manager
  • Conduct building/yard maintenance as required
  • Inventory of flooring and related materials
  • Report shortages in a timely fashion

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Fully competent in supervising crews to safely load/unload, install/remove floors, carpets.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly attitude required!
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid first aid certification, forklift license.
  • Must be able to work irregular long hours, weekends, day, afternoon and night shifts.
  • Must have a clean and neat appearance
  • Must have access a valid drivers license, experience with trailers is an asset.
  • Must have experience with woodworking tools.
