Toronto, Ontario
$60,000–$65,000
Are you looking to join one of Greater Toronto's Top 2025 Employers?
Our client is seeking a licensed, client-focused insurance professional to join their team in a hybrid role that blends service, advisory, and light sales responsibilities.
This position supports the Insurance Advisory and Education & Engagement teams by developing relationships with association members, distributing group products, and responding to daily queries and requests. It's a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys guiding members through coverage decisions, rather than cold calling or high-pressure sales.
How You Make a Difference
- Build and maintain strong relationships with association members; review all new leads to determine qualification status, acknowledge and follow up on leads and compliance documentation.
- Recommend group insurance solutions (Group Health & Dental plans) that align with member needs; explain coverage options, analyze existing policies, and refer complex needs to Advisors.
- Facilitate timely completion and approval of group applications by clarifying information, preparing quotes, and addressing member concerns.
- Proactively participate in member outreach and campaigns to generate awareness and engagement — with outreach efforts focused on education and support.
- Provide elevated service support for escalated insurance applications and inquiries, collaborating with internal teams and advisors.
- Assist the Customer Support Representative team with overflow service requests when required.
- Document and manage service issues, product inquiries, and administrative escalations; follow up on actions taken and deliver clear, timely updates to members.
- Ensure adherence to compliance and service-level agreements through accurate record-keeping and CRM documentation.
- Act as a brand ambassador, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and strong communication in every member interaction.
- Community College Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
- 2–3 years in a licensed insurance role (support or advisory)
- LLQP (Life License Qualification Program) required
- Experience in a branch, agency, or life insurance company setting
- Familiarity with group benefits and insurance concepts
- Salesforce CRM experience preferred
- Additional designations like CLU, CFP, CHS, or CIP are assets
- Ability to balance administrative accuracy with client engagement
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently
This is a hybrid role combining member support, product consultation, and sales-adjacent outreach. You won't be working on commission or cold-calling, but you'll play a key part in engaging members, providing guidance, and growing awareness of group benefits solutions. If you're looking to apply your license in a mission-driven, member-focused environment, this is your chance.
While there is a base salary, the role includes:
- A comprehensive extended health benefits package
- A wellness spending account
- A bonus and performance recognition framework
- Paid professional development
- Growth opportunities into more senior advisory positions
- A culture rooted in respect, boldness, transparency, and responsiveness
- Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning
- A flexible, permanent hybrid model with in-office time in Toronto
- Recognition as one of Greater Toronto's Top Employers for 5 years running
- A friendly, purpose-driven environment where your voice matters
