We are currently looking for a Divisional Financial Business Partner- FP&A, to support one of our Western Canada divisions. About The Role Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, the Divisional Financial Business Partner- FP&A will be responsible for providing timely and insightful financial analysis to support decision-making process within the division. This role will focus on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and divisional goals. This is a hands-on role and acting as front-line support to local management. Will liaise with top level management within the division. What You Will Do * Provide support to branches and management members for all finance and operational questions. * Participate in the month end close process. * Preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. * Develop and maintain dashboards. * Monitor key performance indicators. * Analyze and forecast sales by market, distribution channel, and product families. * Prepare presentations and analyze results for business reviews. * Analyze financial statements, explain variances, and formulate business recommendations. * Prepare various month-end reports, with business comments to guide management in decision-making. * Review and analyze monthly transactions. Identify anomalies, analyze issues, and provide guidance based on the analysis conducted. * Reconcile/analyze some general ledger accounts * Various ad hoc analyses. Who Are You * University degree in Business Administration specialized in Accounting. * CPA designation * Minimum of 5 years of experience of related experience working for large corporations * Experience with Cognos TM1 and Business Intelligence (BI) is an asset * Service oriented, strong interpersonal and communication skills * Enjoys a fast-paced environment and has a sense of urgency * Strong analytical skills * Ability to think outside-the-box * Strong business acumen (ability to write technical reports and routine correspondence) * Project driven * Able to adapt to change and see opportunities to make change * Advanced MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access) * Strong IT, analytical, numerical, process analysis/improvement, problem-solving and team-working skills are also essential How You Will Thrive * You are expected to act independently to deliver and manage requirements to schedule, budget and scope; and are self-driven and motivated. * You must be a self-starter and motivated to learn new techniques, skills, and knowledge required by his or her duties and responsibilities. * You have strong presentation and communication skills and the ability to interact with divisions and management at all levels.
