Job Description:
Responsibilities:
  • Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
  • This includes developing detailed programming specifications, writing and/or generating code and compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
  • Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion and migrations.
General Skills:
  • Experience in programming and analysis; specialized software package support at the specified experience level.
  • Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation and maintenance of applications.

Skillsets:
Technical Skills - 45%:
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 (with a focus on VB and C#) with significant experienced in building ASP.NET MVC, WPF, and .Net Windows desktop applications.
  • SQL data retrieval stored procedures using Microsoft SQL Server 2014, implement SQL Server database objects, experience in database design, T-SQL, database optimization and tuning.
  • Creation/maintenance of Web and Windows services (in C# / VB.NET ) providing data for consumption by windows and web applications and workflows.
  • Use of reporting tools (e.g. Active Reports, Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)) for Windows and Web applications.
  • Experience with VB, C#, JavaScript (jQuery, ReactJS, NodeJS, etc.), TypeScript and other structured programming languages.
  • Knowledge of Threat Modelling procedures and familiarity with Microsoft the Threat Modelling tool.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud Technologies and Microsoft Azure Resources.
  • Good knowledge of the following platforms: Web API, WCF, AngularJS and Entity Framework.
Core Skills - 35%:
  • Business analysis, software specification skills and trouble-shooting ability.
  • Ten plus years development experience and an education in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent required.
General Skills - 20%:
  • Ability to quickly grasp financial terms and concepts.
  • Knowledge of derivatives-based fixed-income financial products would be beneficial.
