Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Mississauga, ON. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Quality Control:
  1. Safety must always be a prime consideration of every person, and you are needed to ensure that product safety, the safety of people and the environment is never compromised.
  2. Carry out inspection of the product against drawings and specifications requirements.
  3. Records inspection results in the industrial digital tools as needed.
  4. Have the ability to accept or reject products as defined in the working instructions / Expert support.
  5. Maintain Quality documentation for components, assemblies and vehicles.
  6. Support Supplier quality management process and issue supplier non-conformity reports
  7. Lead supplier non-conformity process (MRB, GSI Non-conformities, follow-up, report analysis)
  8. Perform inspections and ensure product compliance checks after rework.
  9. Participate in customer inspections.
  10. Monitoring of corrective and preventative actions and close out of CARs from Customers.
  11. Control the correct calibration of critical equipment's and instrumentations used in the inspections.
• Continuous improvement:
  1. Identifying necessary improvements in the quality system and implementing changes to quality procedures.
  2. Additional quality activities as needed.
• Awareness of processes and products delivered in the project.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience within a similar industry
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality standards (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI) and quality tools.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in operational activities, documentation management & collaboration and team working.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Associate Degree
• A wide practical knowledge of manufacturing techniques and their relationship to quality systems such as those defined in ISO:-9001-2015.
• Technical knowledge, ability to read a drawing
• Knowledge of Railway Industry Standards.
• Able to build effective working relationships.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player.
• Proactive approach.
• Problem-solving techniques.
• Understanding of the client drawing, systems and procedures.
• Experienced in the use of tool measuring readings.
• View quality and deadlines as "musts' to be achieved.
• SAP user experience.
