Main Purpose of Job:

Instructor works with students ages 4-14 and teaches various topics including pickleball and chess.

Reports to: Director, Instructor

Direct Reports: Volunteers, Teaching Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Be approachable, helpful, and familiar with the sports safety and a variety of sport

• Assist children ages 4-12 Provide leadership on guiding groups of children with assertiveness and kindness

• Support and follow all safety and security protocol including but not limited to equipment inspection and reporting; and Health & Safety initiatives at all times

• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, operations policies, procedures and working practices and other aspects of operations including but not limited to cleaning and sanitizing procedures

• Greet customers and parents and provide a memorable experience for all families.

• Attend to customers in a timely manner

• Be thoroughly familiar with website, entire line of services and products, daily and monthly promotions

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year experience in teaching role preferred

• Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service and cash handling

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to make decisions quickly and confidently

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Strong sense of professionalism and discretion required

• Communicate with the Team Leader regarding customer requests

• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash levels

• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products is beneficial

• Possess a valid certificate in First Aid and CPR-

Note: Successful candidate will need to have a valid drivers licence. Programs are offered at many locations in both Mississauga and Brampton after school and on weekends.
