Job Posting: Corporate Paralegal

About Our Client One of Canada's leading business law firms is seeking a dedicated and experienced Corporate Paralegal to join their team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in commercial real estate or conveyancing, looking to advance their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Location: Vancouver, BC
Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on experience
Start Date: Approximatly June 1, 2025

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior paralegals with transactions, including due diligence searches (e.g., Corporate, Bank Act, Court Registry, PPSA), minute book reviews, and post-closing matters.

• Prepare routine documents for BC and federal entities, such as incorporations/organizations, amalgamations, continuations, capital alterations, name changes, dissolutions, restorations, and related corporate registry filings.

• Prepare documents for issuing, transferring, and redeeming shares, declaring dividends, and drafting other required resolutions.

• Handle business name and extra-provincial registrations, updates, and cancellations.

• Coordinate communications with clients, other offices, law firms, and agents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Paralegal Program.

• Knowledge of the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) and Canada Business Corporations Act.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, with exceptional multitasking and prioritization skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, BC Online, Adobe, and ALF Corporate.

• Strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
