Our client, a company in the energy industry is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join them on a 12-month assignment. The role will be working hybrid 3 days a week at their offices in Mississauga.

The Senior Financial Analyst will lead and support data gathering and analysis for projects for functional owners and drive improvements to analytical reporting in relation to projects.

Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst will:

• Support budget preparation process and rolling forecast analytics
• Act as a key support contact for project reporting, tracking, managing, ad-hoc queries from management
• Holding project managers accountable for spend, monthly tracking and analysis to ensure we stay on target
• Perform financial forecasting to support decision making both for planning and value creation
• Prepare Grant Submission documentation and provide grant submission support

TMGCT

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to build formulas to support quantitative analysis, trend analysis and exception reporting
• Grant submission support experience is a strong asset
