Deliverables and Skillsets:
- Hands-on experience in application support, build and test, production deployment, change request, and release management.
- Working experience of database design, editing, transformation, and loading using Power Center Informatica ETL, and support SAP Business Object Enterprise (BOE) based reporting analytics solutions.
- Support new and current informatica ETL processes to enhance loading of data from and into different source/ target systems.
- Review, analyze, modify, and create informatica ETL workflows and processes.
- Perform ETL monitoring, testing, debugging, tuning and providing on-going support to business critical.
- Data ware house and reporting solutions in production.
- Document technical needs for ETL processes and databases, and ensure optimal technical infrastructure is utilized.
- Perform various complex assignments without much supervision and must be able to carry out training for ministry and IT staff.
- Working experience of large data integration and Informatica and BOE technology upgrade projects.
- Working knowledge of n-tier web-based applications, database technologies, software, tools, and languages such as SAP Business Object Enterprise, Informatica, Oracle, PL/SQL, and Windows/Solaris/Linux operating systems.
- Sound knowledge of production applications support process including incident management, change management, deployment, support, and upgrades.
- Working knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), application deployment and testing, and release management processes to contribute to the development, delivery, and on-going support of applications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in a large team and work closely with other individual team members.
- Public sector experience would be an asset.
Evaluation Criteria Technical Experience - 60:
- Working experience with business-critical applications support in a production environment.
- Hands-on experience in application support, build and test, production deployment, change request, and release management.
- Ability to perform database design, editing, transformation, and loading (i.e., ETL).
- Knowledge of complex programming concepts and languages to lead the preparation of detailed design specifications, testing, implementation, and documentation.
- Working knowledge of n-tier web-based applications, database technologies, software, tools, and languages such as SAP Business Object Enterprise, Informatica, Oracle, PL/SQL, and Windows/Solaris/Linux operating systems.
- Sound knowledge of production applications support process including incident management, change management, deployment, support, and upgrades.
- Ability to manage and track all incident and service requests and coordinate with other support teams.
- Working experience with technology upgrade projects.
- Knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), application deployment, testing, and release management processes to contribute to the development, delivery, and ongoing support of applications.
- Knowledge of ITIL and experience of application support with incident tickets, service requests, change requests, deployment, and release management.
- Working knowledge of information architecture and data modeling, internet technology, and emerging technologies to support the n-tier web-based Data warehouse and Reporting applications.
- Strong verbal written communication skills.
