Responsibilities:
- The consultant will provide strategic advice and technical expertise on Data Centre infrastructure services in order to facilitate the development of any (RFB's) for a variety of Data Centre technologies and architecture delivered based on the client s service specifications, standards, policies, best practices and cost models.
- This will include the drafting of strategic documents, presentations, and financial models.
- The Resource will lead the business requirements of any RFB's through working with various Government stakeholder groups to accomplish a successful RFB outcome.
- The Resource will also develop materials in line with the Government service delivery processes, infrastructure policies, procedures and direction, cost models and established procurement processes.
- This Resource will incorporate I&IT information mandates, strategic plans, I&IT environment and standards into the materials.
Data Centre Infrastructure Technology and Architecture - 30%:
- Demonstrated 10+ years experience working at an Enterprise level in a technical or business capacity with experience in n-Tiered Data Centre Networks and Tier-IV Data Centre environments.
- Demonstrated 8+ years preparing/developing and responding to questions for treasury board submissions and related business planning for government complex.
- Enterprise Data Centres hosted in a certified Tier-IV Data Centre environment.
- Demonstrated 10+ years preparing business case assessments related to service delivery models related to modernizing cloud and complex data center environments.
