JOB SUMMARY:

The Facility Maintenance Operator will report directly to the Fair Manger. They will also oversee and complete property and building maintenance at the Massey Fair Grounds.

POSITION DUTIES:

- Cutting grass

- Removing dead trees

- Caring for Community Garden

- Ensuring buildings are cleaned and prepped for Massey Fair.

- Assisting with fair set-up and take down.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

1. Must demonstrate enrollment as a full-time student in the previous academic semester school and be returning full time in the fall of 2025/2026 Academic school year.

2. Must be eligible for Sagamok Anishnawbek ISETP program funding (member of Sagamok, valid SIN #)

3. Must have, or be willing to obtain First Aid, WHIMIS, & Health and Safety in 4 Steps

4. Must be able to work occasional weekends and evenings.

5. Must be available to work Massey Fair Weekend

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Drivers License and access to personal vehicle an asset

- Ability to operate push mower/riding mower.

- Painting

- General Maintenance an asset.
