Hybrid role - Candidate is required to come in office - 3 days a week/2 day remote
MUST HAVES: Working experience with business-critical applications support in a production environment.
Deliverables and Skillsets
Middleware specialist experience in:
  • Hands-on experience in application support, build and test, production deployment, change request, and release management.
  • Working experience of database design, editing, transformation, and loading using Power Center Informatica ETL, and support SAP Business Object Enterprise (BOE) based reporting analytics solutions.
  • Support new and current informatica ETL processes to enhance loading of data from and into different source/ target systems
  • Review, analyze, modify, and create informatica ETL workflows and processes.
  • Perform ETL monitoring, testing, debugging, tuning and providing on-going support to business critical Datawarehouse and reporting solutions in production.
  • Document technical needs for ETL processes and databases, and ensure optimal technical infrastructure is utilized.
  • Perform various complex assignments without much supervision and must be able to carry out training for ministry and IT staff.
  • Working experience of large data integration and Informatica and BOE technology upgrade projects.
  • Working knowledge of n-tier web-based applications, database technologies, software, tools, and languages such as SAP Business Object Enterprise, Informatica, Oracle, PL/SQL, and Windows/Solaris/Linux operating systems.
  • Sound knowledge of production applications support process including incident management, change management, deployment, support, and upgrades.
  • Working knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), application deployment and testing, and release management processes to contribute to the development, delivery, and on-going support of applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in a large team and work closely with other individual team members.
  • Public sector experience would be an asset.
