Job Description and Responsibilities
If you have a talent for automobiles, a strong work ethic, a proven track record of success, and excellent customer service skills, we want to hear from you! Please note that you must have reliable transportation to and from work, as the location is remote and not accessible by bus. Additionally, you should be available to work on weekends. This is a temporary position lasting 12 months.
- Serve customers in a retail environment
- Perform daily cash-out reports
- Prepare invoices for purchased vehicles
- Notify appropriate personnel of any procedural abnormalities and unethical activity
- Keep work area clean
- Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations
- Performs other duties as they might be assigned
Requirements
- High School or equivalent
- No experience necessary, but previous work experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar scrap yard/auto part environment will be considered an asset
- Strong communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing, and over mobile radio devices
- Polite and friendly with a customer service orientation
- Knowledge of automotive components is considered an asset
- Strong work ethic, uses time efficiently
- Able to work with minimal supervision/general oversight
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
