Roles & Responsibilities:
Act as a primary point of contact for Commercial Lines (CL) accounts, managing day-to-day client needs and account maintenance.
Maintain key relationships with clients and insurers, ensuring continued satisfaction and retention.
Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, payments, and inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
Review client coverages regularly, identifying any gaps or necessary changes, and recognizing opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling.
Assist Producers with new business submissions, proposals, quotes, remarkets, and binders.
Take initiative in the negotiation and processing of renewals.
Provide confirmation of insurance and manage claim submissions, advocating on behalf of clients during the claims process.
Issue Certificates of Insurance and liability slips as required.
Assist with office administrative tasks as necessary to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a solutions-oriented approach in a multi-faceted environment.
Must hold a current RIBO license in good standing.
A college diploma and/or university degree (or equivalent) is preferred.
Proven ability to deliver client-focused solutions, ensuring positive customer experiences.
Demonstrated sales ability to round-out accounts and identify new business opportunities.
Ability to work independently and build efficiencies in daily workflows.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Lines CSR.
Willingness to learn and collaborate with team members across all departments.
Knowledge of insurance markets, rating, and underwriting procedures.
Experience with Broker Management Systems (e.g., PolicyWorks, Applied Epic, Applied Rating Services, CSR24, and Insurer Portals) is an asset.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
