Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst whose main goal will be to extract, compile, and analyze trade and financial data for our clients as well as do work on internal KPI Analysis. This position requires exceptional Excel skills, a strong analytical mind, and experience with MS BI would be an asset. The analyst will work with both our US and Canadian teams to provide relevant trade data that assists our clients in understanding the impacts of the continuously changing trade environment, while also providing analysis of financial metrics for GHY internally.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on Excel spreadsheets, loves solving problems with data, and wants to help companies navigate the ever-changing trade environment.

Location: This role supports both our US and Canadian operations, as such we are open to candidates located in either region.

Responsibilities:

• Extracting and compiling trade and financial data from various sources such as NexGen, ITMR, ACE Portal and CARM Portal.
• Analyzing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Create, manage, and maintain dashboards and reports for internal KPIs.
• Collaborate with teams across Canada and the US to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
• Provide clients with tailored insights and detailed analysis into market shifts and trade impacts.
• Assisting in the development of strategies to adapt to the changing regulatory and market environments.
• Supporting GHYs internal finance team with metric analysis and reporting.

Required Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas, etc.) and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with BI (e.g., Microsoft BI, Power BI) is an asset but not necessary .
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  and the ability to present findings clearly.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
• A degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field would be asset.
