The IT Division is intent on maturing capabilities related to technology and services planning, strategy development, Application and Technology portfolio management, enterprise risk management, and technology governance, policies and standards.
As an Enterprise Architect, the resource will play a key role in the development of business and IT strategies, architectural governance frameworks, long-term enterprise level strategic plans and management initiatives. This resource will be working closely with the Director, Architecture as well as senior leadership throughout ITD and GOS ministries, The resource will collaborate with other resources as needed to develop outcomes in alignment with the government's and the ministry's priorities and
expectations.

Contributing to maturing capabilities within the IT Division. Skill set info Experience in working with North American Public Sector Organizations
Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks and practice development across all domains. (Business, Information, application, technology, security).
Demonstrated experience with multi-year capital and operating budget planning, including projections for total cost of ownership
Significant experience and expertise in enterprise architecture and IT strategy development.
Proven ability in technology and services planning, application and technology portfolio management, enterprise risk management, and governance, policies, and standards.
Demonstrated experience facilitating enterprise planning, consulting with business and IT leadership and leading the development of consolidated roadmaps.
Experience with architectural governance frameworks and aligning IT strategies with business needs.
Expertise in creating long-term enterprise-level strategic plans and managing initiatives. Education Certifications (if required) Certification in TOGAF 9 or newer. This will be validated through The Open Group website.
